For 40 years, the Ruth and Harold Chenven Foundation has given unrestricted grants to individual artists and craftspersons – achieving our mission to provide support for visual artists living and working in the United States. Despite the challenges of sustaining a publicly funded, grassroots foundation, RHCF has provided grants to 231 artists over the last 40 years. We invite you to join us in celebrating the art and artists that make up our rich visual culture and in helping us continue to accomplish our mission for years to come.  

While we intended to celebrate this milestone with an exciting public program, we unfortunately had to postpone it. We will look toward scheduling this event at a future date. We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and generosity that so many of you have shown.
